My 88 audi has this too, and range till empty. I had a 79 volvo 242 with light malfunction indicator too. It is always funny when you realize how old tech is.
I also think the crazy aston lagondas had this in the early 80's

lol perhaps mid-2000? Alpine's all look so similar, haha. But it's not that green color they originally had for the buttons.
